I Am The Miracle
I Am the Miracle is no ordinary tale of salvation or redemption, no run of the mill trajectory from bulimia & anorexia and drugs & alcohol to a good, acceptable and rewarding life as an ex-addict. In this life, frowned-upon addictions have not been replaced with socially sanctioned addictions, as in swapping alcohol for coffee or drugs for institutional religions and their versions of good and bad, right and wrong.
The woman in this real-life account is not an ex-addict by any stretch of the imagination. Instead, addictions play no role in her life and how she feels about herself at all; she has no need for any labels or identifications. She is totally free of any need for or inclination towards the addictive ways she used to be aligned to in her younger years, up to the age of around forty-five.
And this is no sob story either, even though the details are at times sordid if notdownright devastating. But again, zero identification here.
How this is possible you are about to find out in this beautifully honest and transparent recount of this woman’s life so far: she is, indeed, The Miracle.
